New collection of fine fabrics
Work together.
Spin it.
Our hundreds of spindles are mounted vertically on a machine that spins fibers into yarns. The twisting techniques where the fiber is drawn out, twisted, and wound onto a bobbin is where woven garment making begins.
Dye it.
Our yarn dyeing procedure is a unique type of coloring process that requires accurate timing skills to match the exact color needed. When dyed yarn shade is matched with the approved sample, the bulk will be dyed according to the defined color recipe. Our focus is to maintain color consistency throughout the production process.
Arrange it.
After the yarns are spun and dyed, we line them up to feed our many weaving machines. These populous appliances are Belgian instruments that we specially brought over to our factory grounds. With European accuracy the process of fabric production is set in movement.
See it unfold.
Asses it.
When the trial and error approach is used successfully the machines are set for bulk production. Before pushing the button we first cut out a swatch for your approval. When the sample is approved, the machines are set to full speed.
Weave it.
While the pattern steadily shows its appearance the design becomes visible. The shuttles go from left to right and at the same time the process is followed closely by our staff members to ensure consistency and quality of the fabric.
Touch it.
At the end of the process the yarns roll out matured to a woven fabric which then is wrapped to a roll. Staff members give the fabric a final check to the finest detail before giving it a final finishing touch to safeguard the highest standards.
Cut it.
The fabric rolls are then shifted to the cutting rooms where they are laser cut according to the fitting patterns. Each part is cut to precision and made ready for further assembling of the shirt.
Sew it.
Our sewing team then accurately stiches all parts together. From sleeves to plaquets, trimmings, buttons to labels. Lose hanging threads are removed and other irregularities are fixed before the shirt is ironed, folded and individually packed before shipped out.
Wear it.
Every minute detail is looked into throughout the production process, resulting in fabrics and shirts beyond parallel. Takashima Orimono provides a design and tailoring intelligence in the creation of outstanding and original dress shirts maintaining its elite position in the textile industry.
